Veeh-Harfe®
The Veeh harp is a plucked string instrument that can be played without knowledge of music.
A simple and clear musical notation was developed specifically for the instrument – reduced to the essentials. Music stencils, which are inserted between the strings and the resonator, allow sight-reading.
The story of the Veeh harp begins with Hermann Veeh. The farmer was looking for a musical instrument for his son Andreas, who was born with Down syndrome. Inspired by his son’s abilities, Hermann Veeh designed a completely new musical instrument – extremely easy to use, attractive in design, and enchanting in sound.
A wonderful world opened up for Andreas and many other people. The dream of people with different talents and abilities making music together became reality.
